CRAFTED EXPERIENCE

Tide & Bloom

Coastal Blooms

Nestled between the salt air and the lush flower fields, Tide & Bloom invites you to slow down and create with intention. Your experience begins by wandering the fields, selecting the blooms that speak to you - each one shaped by the rhythm of the tides and the flow of the nearby brook.

With Alicia’s guidance, you’ll learn the art of floral design, crafting an arrangement that reflects both your personal style and the essence of Fundy’s landscape. But this is not simply arranging flowers. It's listening to the land, feeling its energy, and allowing creativity to rise naturally.

You’ll laugh, explore, and lose track of time as you work with what the season offers. Surrounded by nature and supported by Alicia’s gentle expertise, you’ll discover how flowers can become an expression of place.  Alive with colour, story, and meaning.

Leave with a stunning piece that will become the beginning of Fundy-inspired creations long after you’ve returned home.

Come curious, leave connected to nature, to creativity, and to the quiet magic of the Upper Bay of Fundy.

Coastal Blooms

Alma, New Brunswick

At Coastal Blooms in Alma, New Brunswick, Alicia O’Hara tends more than flower fields, she tends a relationship with place. Surrounded by salt air, tidal rhythms, and the gentle chatter of her beloved ducks, Alicia has created a sanctuary where beauty grows slowly and meaningfully. Her work is rooted in the land and water of the Upper Bay of Fundy, and in a deep belief that flowers carry stories worth sharing.

Alicia has a gift for helping people feel at ease in nature. With warmth, humour, and a genuine love of her craft, she invites guests into her world.  It’s a world where every bloom is chosen with intention, every arrangement reflects the season, and every visitor becomes part of the ongoing story of the farm.

At Coastal Blooms, Alicia doesn’t just guide floral design. She helps you notice the small wonders: petals glowing in morning light, the murmur of the brook, the way the tides seem to breathe. With her guidance, creativity feels effortless and connection feels natural.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Fundy Partnership acknowledges that the Fundy Coast and Fundy Foothills region is within Mi’gma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq, Wolastoqiyik, and Peskotomuhkati people. This land is governed by the Peace and Friendship Treaties, which continue to guide relationships based on respect, cooperation, and shared responsibility.

We are grateful for the opportunity to live, learn, and work in this place. We recognize that our presence here carries responsibilities, and we commit to ongoing learning about Mi’gma’ki—its histories, cultures, and living relationships to the land and waters. We strive to carry this learning forward in our work, in ways that honour the Mi’kmaq and support respectful relationships now and into the future.
